đź”’ Loloo Privacy Policy đź”’
Your Privacy Matters
Loloo is committed to protecting your privacy, especially since the app is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. This policy explains what information is collected (and what isn't), how it's used, and your choices regarding your data. By using Loloo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Since Loloo doesn't require account registration, we do not collect personal identification information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. We also do not track your browsing history outside the app or collect data about your contacts, messages, or other apps on your device.
Information We May Collect
Photos & Edited Content
When you use Loloo's camera to take photos or edit existing ones from your device's gallery, the app accesses these photos temporarily to apply filters or adjustments. This access is limited to the session in which you're editing, and the photos remain stored on your device—Loloo does not upload or store your photos on external servers unless you choose to share them via the check-in page (see below).
Shared Content on Check-in Page
If you use the "one-click share" feature to post photos to the check-in page, those specific photos will be stored locally on your device and displayed within the app's check-in section. This shared content is visible only within your personal check-in page and weekly/daily collections on your personal homepage. No shared content is made public or accessible to other users unless you explicitly share it through external platforms (e.g., social media), which is controlled by your device's sharing settings, not Loloo.
App Usage Data (Anonymous)
To improve the app, we may collect anonymous, aggregated data about how you use Loloo's features—for example, which filters are most popular, how often camera mode is used vs. album mode, or technical details like app crashes. This data is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally. It is used solely to enhance functionality, fix bugs, and refine the user experience.
How We Use Your Information
The limited information we collect is used for the following purposes:
- To enable core app features: Accessing your photos temporarily to apply edits, organizing them in the album by filter style, and displaying shared content on your check-in page.
- To improve the app: Using anonymous usage data to identify which features are most useful, fix technical issues, and develop new filters or tools that align with user preferences.
- To personalize your experience: Generating daily/weekly photo collections on your personal homepage based on your editing activity, which is stored locally on your device.
Data Storage & Security
All photos and data related to your use of Loloo are stored locally on your device—we do not transfer or store your data on remote servers. This means you have full control over your information, and its security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend keeping your device updated and using passcodes or biometric locks to protect your data from unauthorized access.
Your Choices & Control
You can control your privacy by:
- Choosing not to share photos on the check-in page, keeping all content private.
- Uninstalling Loloo at any time, which will remove the app's local data (note: your original photos will remain in your device's gallery).
- Revoking app permissions (e.g., camera or gallery access) through your device's settings, though this may limit Loloo's functionality.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes in the app's features or privacy practices. When updates are made, a notice will appear in the app. Your continued use of Loloo after the notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
